The Imaging Facility is a core facility established in 2006, which mainly provides bio-optical imaging services for the institute. Now the facility is equipped with laser point scan confocal, spinning disk confocal, 2-photon microscope and wide field live cell imaging workstation. With theses advanced instruments, the facility can provide imaging solutions for all kinds of biological specimens, including fixed samples, culture cells and in-vivo cellset al. Meanwhile, the facility is developing several imaging techniques, especially 2-photon in vivo imaging and single molecular imaging. We hope to set up new imaging platforms for specific biological questions.
